The Damiano Center in Duluth has been serving low-income individuals and families for the past 30 years. The enterprise began in 1982 as a Soup Kitchen out of the former Sacred Heart school building, developed over time into a robust and too-often sought services space for people in need. Recently, the over-100 year old building was in need of a new roof. Central Roofing Company and many other industry leaders worked together to complete the 18,000 sq. foot project at no cost in order to help Damiano Center focus its funds on helping their community.
